My feedback is...I like your EQ. It really brings home the importance of using science and takes away the age-old question of why they should study something. I really like the idea of having the students communicate with someone through the wiki. Having them talk to real-life people makes this so real. The chart the students will create on the PowerPoint is great. It really will give them a visual image to make an abstract concept real to them. I like the group participation checklist, too.

My feedback is...I like the way you supplied a solid background of jazz and then guided students through the project.Your rubric is wonderful and looks like it will be very easy to grade. I think you have greater technology skills than you give yourself credit!

My feedback is...Phenomenal plan! Very helpful links in the unit plan! Your rubric is very clear and I would enjoy grading with the "title slide", "accurate research", and "easy to read slides" standards. The check system is another idea I will enjoy implementing!

My feedback is...Dawn, I really appreciated the scaffolding document in your unit plan. I think it is a good aid without limiting the students' creativity. I like that you provide many options for your students instead of demanding that every student read the same book.

My feedback is...Your unit reminds me of the movie "Freedom Writers". Your wiki space was very inviting as well as your class wiki. Your presentations through out this class have been very creative. Wonderful connections with the community. I have a hard time teaching students that there are many more important things in life beyond tennis shoes...I think you have really taught this lesson!

My feedback is...I really think so many of your resources are very inviting and supportive to students. My favorite part was the ppt with recorder/xylophone markings. I think putting your help documents for promethean online is great...and a great way to encourage other teachers to experience wikis. I am impressed by the ways you adapted this class to fit a music classroom.
